Chester Hypocaust Reconstruction Photo ca. 1865-1890

Roman hypocaust reconstruction near the Chester watertower.

Commercial photographic print sold by J. Valentine.

Silver gelatine prints replaced albumin prints during the 1880s, suggesting a date before 1890 for this print.
